OUR MISSION

After a few decades of visiting the Art Capitol of the Southwest, it was our insight that we had only scratched the surface of discovering the art in the City Different. Having now lived here in Santa Fe and talking with many artists and gallery owners, we have a better understanding of the art community’s needs. We developed the website SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE to enable art lovers, from near and far, to discover all the galleries and museums. Our goal was to democratize representation and level the playing field for galleries, large and small. By providing free listings, the SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE has become the definitive art guide for Santa Fe. We built out a companion website, social community and merchandise store. After five years, our commitment stays strong to support this resilient community.

Curt Doty, Co-Founder

Curt Doty is an award-winning Creative Director with over 25 years experience in branding and marketing entertainment and Fortune 500 companies. As a creative entrepreneur, his sweet spot of innovation has been uniting the worlds of design, content and technology. Working with Microsoft, Toshiba and Apple, Curt created award-winning advanced content experiences for mobile, eBooks and advertising.  Curt moved to Santa four years ago with his wife Debra, but family ties to the area go back generations. His consultancy CurtDoty.co works nationally but has served local companies as well.

 Debra White Doty, Co-Founder

Debra’s career has evolved over the years. She began her career as an illustrator in New York, and in later years, focused her attention to graphic design, marketing and branding. Debra currently works in Santa Fe, New Mexico doing graphic and website design. She continues to focus on The Santa Fe Art Experience website and social media. Debra recently co-founded and launched Springamajig Press, an online shop for cards, fine art prints and classroom posters and educational materials.
