Jackson Clark to give a free lecture about Navajo weavings at Sorrel Sky Gallery Santa Fe
Sorrel Sky Gallery is offering a unique opportunity to learn about the art of Navajo weaving. Threads Through Time, a History of the Navajo People Told Through Their Weaving will be presented by Jackson Clark, a nationally recognized authority on Navajo weaving and the owner of Toh-Atin Gallery in Durango, Colorado.
This free lecture begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 125 W Palace Ave, Sorrel Sky’s downtown location.
As part of a continuing collaboration with Toh-Atin Gallery, Sorrel Sky has a large collection of Navajo rugs to select from, both vintage and contemporary, originating from various areas in the Navajo Reservation.
